JOB SPECIFICATION: PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION SPECIALIST
Reports to: Director, Logistics
Classification: Non-Exempt
Location: Headquarters (Mount Laurel, NJ)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Product Distribution Specialist supports the company’s remote cardiac monitoring operations by ensuring the efficient handling, preparation, and distribution of medical monitoring equipment. This specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of device inventory, including unpacking, cleaning, testing, and refurbishing returned equipment, as well as preparing and shipping devices to customers via carriers such as UPS and USPS. The Product Distribution Specialist is critical to supporting RhythMedix’s mission of delivering timely, reliable cardiac monitoring solutions by ensuring equipment readiness and operational efficiency across the distribution process.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Unpack, sort, and clean monitoring equipment
- Test equipment to ensure it is in proper working condition
- Prepare devices and equipment for receiving and shipping
- Pack equipment for shipment to customers via UPS and USPS
- Demonstrate proficiency with email and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Provide customer service support as needed, including responding to emails and occasionally contacting patients by phone
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & COMPENTENCIES:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with PCs
- Able to remain on your feet for extended periods
- Proficient in inspecting, testing, and cleaning returned equipment during the refurbishment process
- Able to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds
- Capable of working on-site Monday through Friday
