Physician Assistant – Hematology/Oncology

Seeking a Physician Assistant to join a growing Hematology/Oncology program in an outpatient setting. This is a six-month locum opportunity with a full-time Monday–Friday schedule and occasional inpatient consults.

Compensation: $140/hr

Schedule

Monday–Friday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

One-hour lunch

No call

Six-month assignment

Full-time strongly preferred (near full-time schedules may be considered)

Practice Setting

Primarily Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic

Occasional inpatient consults

15 infusion chairs

Patient Volume

18–20 patients per day

Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage hematology and oncology patients

Provide follow-up care in the outpatient clinic

Perform occasional inpatient consultations as needed

Collaborate with the oncology team in a growing practice

Treatments

Chemotherapy

Immunotherapy

Targeted therapy

Hormone therapy

Support Staff

1 Nurse Practitioner

Requirements

Board Eligible or Board Certified Physician Assistant

Active New York license required at presentation

Epic experience required

Flexible and adaptable to a growing practice

Current, gap-free work history (no employment gaps greater than 30 days)

If there is any malpractice history (including dismissed claims), a physician statement is required

Agency-branded CV required at submission
