Overview: As a growing 501 C3, Non-profit organization, CRCI is always looking for new, talented individuals who can be an addition to its efforts. It is CRCI Management's desire that each person involved with the organization (paid or not paid) has a burden for the lost, the sick, and the suffering. Job Summary:
We are looking for dedicated team members who want to expand their experience and grow their careers with our exceptional team at CRCI. As a crew leader, you will be responsible for the daily supervision of students and employees who will assist you in the execution of an assortment of scheduled landscaping jobs.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the safety and management of crew members
- Will help the crew in mowing grass (using a zero-turn mower), edging, trimming, debris removal, mulching, leaf cleanup, and other tasks depending on the job.
- Will be responsible for ensuring all crew members are in company uniform and are wearing the required property safety gear as required.
- Responsible for identifying issues within the landscape on the accounts that you service, recording those issues, and reporting them to your manager.
- Customer Service and satisfaction.
- Responsible for keeping trucks and equipment clean and presentable.
- Producing an ongoing maintenance checklist for assigned equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment and reporting issues to the Superintendent.
- Be able to work at a fast pace all year, including the heat of the summer.
- Engagement with management systems;
- Work Order submissions
- Work order progress report submissions immediately following job completion or leaving the site
Requirements:
- Management skills required.
- Exceptional skills in pulling and backing trailers.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Min 1 year of experience managing landscaping projects and/or teams preferred.
- Knowledge and experience in installing a variety of landscape applications.
- Ability to operate landscaping machinery: riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.
- Able to work variable hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
- Be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions.
