Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant will support a specialty practice by performing a variety of clinical tasks with moderate patient interaction. Working within a small team of physicians and nurses, this role focuses primarily on clinical duties to ensure efficient patient care and smooth operation of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Measure and record vital signs accurately
• Maintain and update medical records
• Schedule patient appointments efficiently
• Collect specimens for laboratory testing
• Provide patient education on procedures and care instructions

Required Qualifications

• Certificate in Medical Assisting
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in medical assisting
• Phlebotomy skills
• Strong patient communication abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
