About the Role:
Duarte Grocery Outlet is looking for an energetic and dependable Grocery Merchandiser/Stocker to join our team in Duarte, CA! This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced retail environment where your hard work keeps shelves full and customers happy. Responsibilities:
- Stock, rotate, and face grocery products on shelves to maintain a full and organized sales floor
- Unload delivery trucks and process incoming merchandise efficiently
- Ensure proper product placement and signage in accordance with store merchandising standards
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock needs to management
- Maintain clean and safe aisles, backroom, and work areas
- Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service
- Follow food safety and handling guidelines when stocking perishable and non-perishable items
Requirements:
- Previous grocery stocking, merchandising, or retail experience preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with physical stamina for standing and walking
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Availability to work early morning, evening, weekend, or holiday shifts as needed
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
