What You'll Do
As a Podiatrist, you'll play a critical role in improving patients' mobility, comfort, and overall quality of life by diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot, ankle, and lower extremity conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive examinations and diagnostic evaluations
- Diagnose and treat foot, ankle, and lower extremity disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Perform in-office procedures and surgical interventions as appropriate
- Prescribe medications, orthotics, and physical therapy treatments
- Educate patients on preventative care and recovery protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed EMR documentation
- Collaborate with medical assistants, surgeons, and referring providers to ensure outstanding patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution
- Active and unrestricted podiatry license (or ability to obtain licensure in Florida)
- Completion of a 3-year Podiatric Medicine & Surgery Residency (PMSR)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Podiatric Surgery
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and patient relationship-building abilities
