Senior Care Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate Center Assistant who has a heart for seniors to support our center’s daily operations. This part-time role involves providing transportation support, assisting with activities, and interacting warmly with seniors in the morning hours. The position offers opportunities for additional hours, role advancement, and cross-training in diverse tasks within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation support for our center participants
• Assist with center activities
• Assist with serving lunch and chatting with our seniors during the meal (when needed)
• Engage with seniors to provide companionship and assistance
• Collaborate and work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent driving record
• 1+ years of experience in senior care assistance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Effective time management abilities
• Experience assisting with transportation
• Empathy and reliability in supporting seniors
