MyYearLive LLC is seeking an innovative, high-energy Social Media Intern to grow and engage our online community. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced ed-tech startup. You will shape our brand voice across Instagram and TikTok, directly connecting with students, parents, and educators to showcase how our app transforms school yearbooks into interactive digital journeys. Key Responsibilities Daily Engagement: Manage social channels with daily interactions, responding to comments, tags, and DMs to build a vibrant community. Weekly Contests: Design and host interactive weekly contests (e.g., photo challenges, layout competitions) to drive user engagement and app downloads. Content Creation: Plan and edit high-quality short-form videos (TikToks, Reels) and graphic posts highlighting app features and student stories. Ambassador Collaboration: Coordinate with our Student Youth Ambassadors to amplify their content and feature their school highlights. Weekly Reporting: Track and report basic engagement metrics to see what content resonates best with our audience. Requirements Commitment: Ability to commit to a minimum duration of 3 months with a consistent weekly schedule. Student Status: Currently enrolled in a university program (Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design, or related fields preferred). Platform Expertise: Active on TikTok and Instagram with a strong understanding of current trends, popular audio, and basic video editing (CapCut, Canva, etc.). Communication: Excellent copywriting skills with a fun, relatable voice for students and a professional tone for parents and educators. Time Management: Reliable self-starter able to maintain a daily posting and interaction schedule while balancing schoolwork.
