Physician - Medical Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide Medical Oncology coverage in a hospital, infusion center, and outpatient setting


• Monday through Friday daytime shifts with overnight call required and weekend call highly preferred


• Full-time coverage needed with on-call responsibilities for continuity of care


• Providers who do not wish to take weekend call will conclude service each Friday at 4:30 PM


• Consult services with approximately 22-25 patients per day


• Support staff includes 2 MDs and 2 APPs with pagers; no APP coverage on weekends


• EMR system: Epic


• Hospital bed size: 540 beds


• Malignant Hematology experience required


• Medical Oncology and Infusion Center coverage required


• Board Certification in both Hematology and Oncology required


• MN license required; IMLC accepted


• DEA required


• BLS certification required
