Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Seeking a Board Certified Urologist for long-term coverage with a 1 year or longer commitment


• 2 week on/2 week off rotation with flexible dates


• Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts


• Typical schedule consists of 4 clinic days with 1 OR day each week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM


• No call coverage required


• Estimated 20 patient encounters per shift


• Da Vinci Xi Robot available onsite


• Facility lodging with many amenities available if open during scheduled shifts


• MI License, MI CDS, and MI DEA required


• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required


• Current certification or board eligible (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery) required


• At least 50 urological procedures within the past 12 months, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency/clinical fellowship within past 12 months required


• Required skills include general urology (adult), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and fertility work-up


• Preferred skills include pediatric urology, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, and incontinence procedures


• ACLS certification required
