Position Status:
This position is initially being filled through a third-party staffing partner to support LG Energy Solution Michigan's Arizona location. Based on business needs, individual performance, and available opportunities, there may be potential for future direct employment with LG Energy Solution Michigan. Future employment is not guaranteed and remains at the sole discretion of the Company.
This contract assignment is not eligible for employment-based visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer sponsorship.
Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates are expected to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the work location or relocate at their own expense.
Summary:
As an Administrative Associate, HR, you will provide onsite administrative and HR support for the Arizona facility. Working closely with site leadership and the Corporate Human Resources team, you will coordinate onboarding activities, maintain employee records, support Talent Acquisition processes, assist with office administration, and help ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This position serves as the primary onsite administrative contact while partnering with corporate teams to support employees and business operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite administrative support for daily office and HR operations.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding activities from accepted offer through first-day orientation.
- Support pre-employment activities, including candidate communications, background checks, drug screens, employment documentation, and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain accurate employee records and enter employment data into ADP, SAP, and other company systems.
- Prepare onboarding materials, badges, PPE, laptops, welcome materials, and other new hire resources.
- Assist with processing employee personnel changes, including hires, transfers, promotions, and separations, in accordance with established procedures.
- Support Talent Acquisition activities, including interview scheduling, candidate tracking, reporting, and recruitment coordination.
- Generate and distribute reports from HR systems to support business and HR needs.
- Maintain personnel files and employment documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
- Assist with leave administration by coordinating documentation, maintaining records, and partnering with the Corporate Human Resources team.
- Support internal audits, data verification activities, and record maintenance.
- Process invoices, electronic approval requests, office documentation, and other administrative records.
- Order and maintain office supplies, onboarding materials, and general administrative resources.
- Greet visitors, coordinate deliveries, and provide general office support as needed.
- Assist with employee meetings, training coordination, communications, and engagement activities.
- Respond to routine employee administrative inquiries and direct employees to the appropriate HR resources when necessary.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Vocational Certificate or associate's degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
- 1 to 3 years administrative, HR, office management, or Talent Acquisition support experience.
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
- Experience using HRIS systems such as ADP, SAP, or similar software preferred.
- Experience supporting multiple administrative functions simultaneously preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote HR and business partners.
- Flexibility to support onboarding activities and occasional schedule adjustments as business needs require.
