Bilingual Payroll Clerk

Clayton Services is searching for a Bilingual Payroll Clerk to join a thriving company in the North Houston area. The Bilingual Payroll Clerk will be responsible for assisting the payroll department.

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00/hour
Benefits: Excellent benefits available after the successful completion of the temporary period, including medical, PTO, and more.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Bilingual Payroll Clerk Responsibilities:

• Performs clerical duties, including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms
• Operates office machines, including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment
• Answers phones, directs calls to appropriate individuals, and prepares messages
• Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters
• Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically
• Data Entry into QuickBooks
• Verify employee timesheets
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Bilingual Payroll Clerk Skills and Abilities:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish, required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Bilingual Payroll Clerk Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 1+ year of administrative experience is required
• Previous payroll experience is preferred
