Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on CNC turning and milling machines, welding equipment, and production tools. This role requires someone with extensive, recent hands-on CNC maintenance experience who can independently diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on CNC turning, milling, and welding machines
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on CNC equipment
- Utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes and restore equipment to operation
- Inspect and maintain production tools, including grinding/buffing tools, impact wrenches, and crimping tools
- Complete maintenance requests from internal departments
- Document all repairs, maintenance work, and parts replacements
- Follow all safety and environmental regulations
- Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment (5S)
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability
Requirements
- 5+ years of recent CNC maintenance experience (required)
- Advanced troubleshooting experience with CNC machines is required
- Strong experience maintaining and repairing CNC turning and milling machines
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for 10–12 hour shifts
- Comfortable working in a noisy, industrial environment
- Stable work history with verifiable references
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
