Position Overview
The Groundup Commercial Superintendent will oversee the construction and completion of commercial projects from the ground up. This role requires strong leadership skills and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality while ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Prepare and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to provide project updates and address any issues.
• Lead and mentor project teams to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ Years Groundup Commercial Superintendent experience - a MUST
• Must be coming out of a reputable GC with strong references (subcontractor references, former employers, etc)
• Must have good tenure (please only apply if you've spent more than 2+ years per prior company)
• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction with a strong tenure.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, safety standards, and building codes.
• Experience managing commercial projects such as warehouses, office buildings, hospitals, and municipal buildings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
