Recycling Sorter / Production Laborer

We are hiring dependable and motivated Industrial Sorters to join our team at a local recycling facility. In this role, you will work alongside a team sorting recyclable materials into designated containers. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that plays an important role in keeping recyclable materials out of landfills and supporting environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort recyclable materials from a moving conveyor belt into designated bins.
• Identify and separate materials such as cardboard, paper, plastics, aluminum, and other recyclables.
• Remove non-recyclable or contaminated items from the sorting line.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds consistently and up to 50 pounds on occasion.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment around moving equipment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic are required.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced team environment.
• Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, or recycling experience is a plus, but not required.
