Direct-Hire/ Permanent 

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our high-volume commercial laundry operation. This role is critical to keeping our production equipment, boilers, and facility systems running safely and efficiently. What You’ll Do

 

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, and steam systems
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Repair and replace motors, pumps, belts, bearings, valves, solenoids, gearboxes, and drive systems
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting (sensors, relays, switches, contactors, control wiring)
  • Maintain HVAC units, exhaust systems, and air circulation equipment
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot boiler and water systems in compliance with safety standards
  • Complete preventive maintenance (PMs) and document all work performed
  • Make machine adjustments, calibrations, and alignments to optimize performance
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime
  • Follow all OSHA, LOTO, PPE, and internal safety procedures
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications
  • Maintain a clean, organized maintenance workspace

 

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year experience as a Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic, or similar role
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of AC/DC motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and drive systems
  • Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and service manuals
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in hot conditions
  • Commitment to safety and proper LOTO procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a commercial laundry or manufacturing environment
  • Boiler license (or willingness to obtain)
  • HVAC certification or mechanical coursework
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • Basic PLC troubleshooting (I/O understanding)
