Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex, mission-critical construction projects in semiconductor and data center environments. The successful candidate will manage project planning, execution, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communication while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. This role requires a strong background in construction management, familiarity with semiconductor fabrication and data center infrastructure, and proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget under high-reliability requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for construction and infrastructure projects in semiconductor fabs and data center facilities, from initiation through closeout.
  • Develop, maintain, and report on project schedules, budgets, risk registers, and resource plans; proactively address variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including design, construction, MEP, commissioning, and operations to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage procurement and subcontractor relationships, including bid evaluation, contract negotiation, scope management, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance processes specific to mission-critical environments.
  • Drive commissioning, validation, and startup activities, working closely with operations and facilities teams to achieve performance criteria.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular status updates, resolving issues, and aligning project outcomes with business objectives.
  • Implement and enforce rigorous change management processes to control scope changes, cost impacts, and schedule adjustments.
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation strategies, including contingency planning for critical systems and downtime minimization.
  • Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and lessons-learned capture to improve future project performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or related field; advanced degree or PMP/PMI certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience in construction or infrastructure, with at least 5 years managing semiconductor fab or data center projects and mission-critical systems.
  • Proven knowledge of semiconductor fabrication facility requirements (cleanroom, process utilities) and data center infrastructure (power, cooling, redundancy tiers).
  • Demonstrated experience managing large budgets, complex schedules, subcontractors, and multi-discipline teams in high-reliability environments.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems, commissioning/validation processes, and industry codes/standards relevant to mission-critical facilities.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, or similar) and proficiency in reporting and document control systems.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, travel to project sites as required, and make timely decisions under pressure.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and quality, with a track record of implementing safety and compliance programs on-site.
