American Traveler is hiring a Travel Echo Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a Cardiovascular Ultrasound position at a 300-bed acute care hospital in Beckley, WV.
Details- Located on the 1st floor Cardiovascular Ultrasound unit of a 300-bed acute care hospital
- Serves a patient population of all ages, including pediatric patients
- Day shift, 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Call requirements include 10 days per month covering evenings and weekends
- Every other weekend on-call, with 8–12 hour weekend call shifts
- Equipment includes Canon Ultrasound and Philips systems
- EMR/imaging systems include Meditech, Fuji PACS, and Synapse
- 13-week contract
- Minimum of 1 year of Echo Tech experience
- RDCS or RCS certification required
- AHA BLS required
- Must be able to perform pediatric echos, TEE, and carotid studies
- Must be able to work independently
- License required if applicable — certification/licensure is required to work as an Echo Tech in WV
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- All required certifications must be obtained prior to start date
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Royal blue or red scrubs required; t-shirts and hoodies are not acceptable
- Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- First-time travelers will be considered provided all requirements are met
