\nWe're seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses with Neuro and/or Orthopedic experience for multiple specialty Med-Surg units within a busy Level I Trauma Center.
Available Units\n- \n
- Neuro Medical-Surgical \n
- Orthopedic Medical-Surgical \n
Assignments are based on unit needs and candidate experience.
Requirements\n- \n
- Active RN License (license pending accepted) \n
- BLS Certification (AHA) \n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience \n
- Recent Epic experience \n
- Experience in either Neuro Med-Surg or Orthopedic Med-Surg \n
- NIHSS required for Neuro assignments \n
- Total Joint Replacement experience required for Orthopedic assignments \n
Neuro Unit

- Neurological Disorders \n
- Deep Brain Stimulators (DBS) \n
- Post-Operative Spine \n
- Neuroscience Patients \n
Orthopedic Unit
\n- \n
- Total Joint Replacements \n
- Hip & Knee Replacements \n
- Orthopedic Surgery \n
- Fractures \n
- Post-Operative Orthopedic Patients \n
- \n
- Assess and monitor Medical-Surgical patients \n
- Administer medications and treatments \n
- Coordinate interdisciplinary patient care \n
- Document using EPIC \n
- Float to similar Med-Surg units when required \n

- EPIC Charting System \n
- Specialty Neuro and Orthopedic Med-Surg units \n
