**Required Experience and Skills:** - Minimum 2 years RN experience - 1.5-2+ years experience needed - 1 year of experience MS/Tele and 2 years of experience in Stepdown - Must be able to read strips - Skills: IV start, telemetry - Charting System Experience Required: Cerner - Specific Skills: IV start, telemetry, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration, Cardiac Telemetry, Central line care/management, Chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac*, CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)*, Feeding tube care and management*, Heparin Protocols, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)*, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, Management of dysrhythmias, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Ortho trauma*, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, PCA*, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy*, PICC line management, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management*, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring*, Sheath Removal*, Starting and maintaining IVs, Surgical drains*, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring*, Telemetry - remote monitoring*, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Titration of Insulin drips*, TR Band*, Tracheostomy care/management*, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Wound Care/Wound Vac* **Certifications:** - BCLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - PALS may be required by the unit - All certifications must be through the American Heart Association (AHA) **Additional Requirements:** - Minimum 2 Manager/Charge Nurse references (within past 2 yrs.) - RN License verification (NURSYs pulled within 2 days of sub date) - WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission - Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis - Submissions must include SSN and DOB - Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis **Submission Requirements:** - Includes candidate profile (work history), specialty-specific skills checklist, a copy of all required certifications in the submittal packet - Minimum 2 years RN experience required - Required certifications must be listed on the application at the time of submittal **Travel Experience:** - Not required **Previous Charge Experience:** - Not specified **Systems and Software:** - EMR: Cerner **Licensure:** - WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
