We’re looking for a driven, resourceful Driver Recruiter to help power our transportation workforce across the U.S. and Canada. In this high-impact role, you’ll own the full recruiting lifecycle—sourcing, hiring, and onboarding top CDL and non?CDL drivers—while also playing a key role in converting temporary drivers into long-term team members. What You’ll Do
- Own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, offers, onboarding, and early retention support
- Recruit CDL and non?CDL company drivers for tractor and straight?truck operations across multiple markets
- Drive the conversion of temporary drivers into permanent hires across the U.S. and Canada
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and targeted campaigns
- Conduct interviews and assessments to evaluate experience, qualifications, and cultural fit
- Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and company hiring standards, including background checks, MVRs, and drug screenings
- Maintain accurate and compliant DQ files and administrative documentation
- Clearly communicate job expectations, compensation, schedules, and benefits
- Partner closely with operations, HR, and workforce teams to meet hiring goals
- Track and manage candidates using ATS platforms (ideally Tenstreet)
- Support new?hire engagement and retention through ongoing communication during onboarding
- Work full?time on site
- 2+ years of experience recruiting CDL and non?CDL drivers in a high?volume environment
- Strong understanding of transportation and trucking regulations (DOT/FMCSA)
- Proven ability to independently manage end-to-end recruiting processes
- Experience building pipelines in competitive markets
- Familiarity with ATS platforms—Tenstreet experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- A proactive, results?driven mindset focused on speed, quality, and retention
- Background in logistics, trucking, or delivery industries
- Experience managing compliance-heavy hiring processes
- Creative sourcing techniques that produce diverse, high?quality candidate pools
- Strong stakeholder partnership skills and the ability to deliver on hiring needs
- Full ownership of the recruiting journey—not just sourcing
- Regional impact supporting driver hiring across the U.S. and Canada
- Strategic influence in improving driver retention through conversion and engagement
- Fast-paced, high?visibility work that directly impacts operational success
