Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and document administration under the supervising nurse’s direction
- Monitor resident status, observe for changes in condition, and promptly report to the supervising clinician
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide resident comfort and dignity
- Perform routine nursing tasks per individualized care plans, including vitals, documentation, and MAR/charting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
- Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and adherence to facility policies and regulatory standards

Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama
- Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and meet guaranteed hours
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with basic charting and documentation
