Services include primary care, behavioral health, specialty care, and health education and advocacy.
In this role, you'll drive revenue and access to care by managing payer contracts, credentialing, and enrollment across Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans — leading payer initiatives, strengthening relationships, and delivering data-driven insights that support growth, compliance, and new service expansion.
Why You'll Love Working Here:
- Competitive salary of $50,000/year.

- A collaborative, supportive federally qualified health center environment.
- Meaningful, mission-driven work improving patient outcomes and healthcare access.
Qualifications:
- Experience in managed care contracting, credentialing, or healthcare administration (required).
- Experience in an Article 28 and/or FQHC system (preferred).
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes.
- Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in database management and reporting.
- Knowledge of provider and facility identifiers (NPI, MMIS, PTAN).
- Excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building payer relationships and collaborating across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract & Payer Management:
- Manage managed care payer contracts (new, renewals, amendments, re-papering).
- Maintain accurate contract records, terms, and payer contacts.
Credentialing & Enrollment:
- Credential and recredential sites with Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care payers.
- Track provider and facility identifiers (NPI, MMIS, PTAN).
Project & Payer Operations:
- Lead payer-related projects and research reimbursement for new services.
- Support implementation of new payer requirements and contractual changes.
Database, Audit & Reporting:

- Compile operational and financial reports; provide payer performance insights.
Payer Relations:
- Serve as the primary payer contact and maintain strong payer relationships.
