Openwork is currently hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate in Macon, GA! We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual with warehouse experience to join a fast-paced distribution team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and verify shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare, package, label, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Accurately record inventory movements and shipping documentation.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (if certified).
- Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work closely with warehouse, production, and transportation teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
What You'll Need:
- Stable work history and reliable attendance.
- Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to read shipping documents and follow work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures.
- Repetitive lifting and movement throughout the shift.
