Job Title: Certified Equipment Operator
Location: St Francisville, LA
Pay: $30-$35 hourly

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Certified Equipment Operator to join our crew. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a dozer and excavator and will take responsibility for the care and basic maintenance of their equipment. This role also requires the safe operation of excavators, dozers, forklifts, and skid steers in congested work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate dozers and excavators safely and efficiently on various job sites
• Responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and skid steers within a congested work environment
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance (fueling, greasing, checking fluids, etc.)
• Follow site plans, grades, and instructions to ensure work meets project specifications
• Work collaboratively with site supervisors and crew members to maintain productivity and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment

Qualifications:

• Pass background check and drug screening
• Proven experience operating dozers and excavators
• Experience operating forklifts and skid steers
• Strong understanding of construction and earthmoving procedures
• Ability to read and follow site plans and grade stakes (preferred)
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail
• Valid drivers license
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
