Slitter Operator / 3rd Shift
Souderton, PA
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate slitting equipment
- Perform visual inspections and quality checks on slit material
- Identify, splice out, and remove non-conforming material
- Complete production, quality, and shipping paperwork accurately
- Prepare slit rolls for shipment in accordance with customer and quality requirements
- Access and use email, intranet, and quality databases as part of daily work
- follow all safety, quality, and plant policies and report unsafe conditions immediately
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in training activities
- Work overtime as needed to meet business demands
Requirements
- Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, training provided
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow standard work procedures and make sound decisions
- Basic computer skills including email and data entry
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and support process improvements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a high-paced production environment
