HIRING – CONVEYOR BELT TECHNICIAN / MAINTENANCE MECHANIC - TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA AREA

We are hiring immediately experienced Conveyor Belt Technicians / Maintenance Mechanics for our automated package sorting hubs. This is a hands-on working role for technicians who can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex material handling and conveyor systems to ensure maximum equipment uptime.

PAY & BENEFITS:

• Pay Range: $28–$38 per hour (based on experience and location)
• Overtime Paid (time and a half after 40 hours)

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO:

• Diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical components including conveyor belts, rollers, bearings, motors, and gearboxes (daily, hands-on)
• Troubleshoot and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial electrical systems (including 480V 3-phase motors and motor control circuits)
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on automated material handling equipment (MHE)
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols, specifically Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
• Work efficiently to clear conveyor jams and minimize operational downtime

REQUIREMENTS (NO EXCEPTIONS):

• Proven experience in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or Conveyor System Repair
• Must have your own basic industrial hand tools (specialty tools provided)
• MUST be comfortable working at heights, navigating catwalks, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, safety-focused, and ready to start immediately

NOT a facility janitorial or entry-level package handler role

Experience:

• CONVEYOR BELT TECHNICIAN / MAINTENANCE MECHANIC: 2 years (Required)
