Maintenance Worker - Now Hiring

Our client, a reputable property management organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join their team.  As a Maintenance Worker, you will be an essential part of the maintenance department supporting property operations and resident satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Worker

Location: Wappingers Falls, NY

Pay Range: $20.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
 

What's the Job?

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, equipment, and common areas
• Complete maintenance checklists and maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and scheduled maintenance
• Respond promptly to routine and emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours on-call situations
• Assist with renovations and structural repairs, including plaster work
• Conduct inspections of units, attics, buildings, and property; report all findings to the Managing Agent

What's Needed?

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems
• Prior maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to operate standard maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with residents, vendors, and management
