Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU setting for adult and pediatric patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and/or diseases
• Manage patient assignments within a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 25-bed unit
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Administer and manage medications using the Pyxis automated medication dispensing system
• Adhere to all unit-specific safety protocols, including wearing a mask at all times while in the ICU

Required Qualifications

• Active single-state Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact nursing license
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU nursing experience
• Pediatric patient care experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — must be American Heart Association (AHA) issued
• NIHSS certification required
• Must wear navy blue scrubs while on unit

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a combined adult and pediatric ICU environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
