Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12 or 4x12 Hours (7:00–19:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit with a heavy cardiac and CVA patient population
• Manage and titrate cardiac drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, and related infusions
• Monitor and assess patients requiring intermediate-level cardiac and neurological monitoring
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care plans and transitions

Required Qualifications

• Active, in-hand Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience with a strong cardiac background
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Nursys verification required at time of submission
• Must reside outside a 50-mile local radius of the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health record system strongly preferred
• Previous IMC, PCU, or Stepdown unit experience in a travel setting
