Contract | Days | 12-Hour Variable Shifts | Sunday–Saturday Coverage | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative nursing care to patients in an acute care hospital operating room setting
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across a range of surgical procedures
• Participate in on-call coverage as required, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Accurately document patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Float between facilities within the state as operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered California RN license (must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification
• Willingness and availability to take on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• No open license or background hits; all disclosures must be made at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of OR nursing experience with exposure to a broad range of surgical procedures
• Current ACLS certification
• Prior experience charting in Epic
