Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Dothan, Alabama

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient status, changes in condition, and responses to treatment
• Adhere to facility protocols, policies, and safety standards throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Alabama
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Permanent address must be located more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Ability to adapt quickly to new facility environments, workflows, and electronic medical record systems
