Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a high-risk OB unit, including LDR rooms, OB Triage, antepartum, OR suites, and PACU
• Manage and monitor high-risk antepartum patients, inductions, and third-trimester triage cases
• Perform OB triage assessments and support an average daily delivery volume with capacity for up to 14 concurrent patients
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for all clinical documentation and charting
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet patient care demands
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities; charge experience preferred or on-the-job training available

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license required prior to start; pending license accepted at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Hepatitis B vaccine required (titers and declinations not accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor and Delivery or OB setting
• Experience working in a high-volume, high-risk OB environment
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
