Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 36 Hours Per Week | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required (Friday/Saturday Night or Saturday/Sunday Night)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Oncology unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for medical surgical and oncology patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Kansas or compact licensure eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts
• Availability to work every other weekend as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an oncology or medical surgical oncology setting
• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation systems
