Job Id: 4667 # of Openings: 1 We are seeking a motivated and experienced Mortgage Lender II to join our team in Rockford, IL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage lending, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage the loan process from application to closing efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Originate and process mortgage loan applications in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate borrower creditworthiness and financial status to determine loan eligibility.
• Provide expert guidance to clients on mortgage products, rates, and terms to help them make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with underwriters, processors, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate loan closings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mortgage products, market trends, and regulatory changes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents, builders, and other referral sources.
• Ensure all loan documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual loan production goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Active and valid Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in mortgage lending or related financial services.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to analyze financial information and credit reports effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with mortgage software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field preferred.
