Description
Location: Oconomowoc, WI
Pay: $17.75/hour
Schedule: Part-time | Every other weekend + 1-hour weekday staff meeting
Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI (LSS) is seeking compassionate, dependable Adult Residential Support Professionals to join our new women's addictions recovery program in Oconomowoc. Our trauma-informed, gender-specific residential treatment program provides medically monitored and transitional care for adult women, with infants up to 3 months old welcome to remain with their mothers during treatment.
In this role, you'll make a meaningful impact by supporting residents on their recovery journey. You'll help create a safe, structured environment while encouraging independence, accountability, and healthy daily routines.
Responsibilities- Provide support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents
- Assist with medication monitoring and administration according to program policies
- Complete documentation and maintain accurate, confidential records
- Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
- Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
- Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community resources
- Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as required
- Attend staff meetings and complete required training
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to working with diverse populations
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- DHS 83 training preferred (or completed after hire)
- Local travel may be required (approximately 25-50% based on program needs)
