Qualifications:
- Valid teaching credential with an authorization in Special Education (mild/moderate emphasis preferred)
- Experience adapting curriculum and instruction for diverse learners in elementary or middle school settings
- Ability to effectively manage caseloads and build rapport with students, staff, and families
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working across different school sites
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction and IEP implementation to students with mild/moderate needs
- Caseloads include:
- Elementary (40%, two days/week, max 12 students)
- Elementary (full-time across two sites, max 28 students)
- Middle School RSP (max 28 students)
- Middle School SDC (two positions, max 16 students)
- Collaborate with regular education teachers and support staff
- Maintain compliance with special education documentation and timelines
