Purchasing Specialist

Responsibilities:

·         Direct all purchasing activities for workplace products.

·         Monitor inventory levels to maximize product availability.

·         Analyze purchasing trends, costs, and vendor performance.

·         Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

·         Work closely with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

·         Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, wholesalers, and distributors.

·         Manage purchasing and establish best practices for procurement operations.

·         Analyze pricing, terms, rebate programs, and vendor agreements.

·         Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience in a distribution industry.

·         Experience with inventory control, forecasting, and purchasing systems.
