School Psychologist in Harrisburg, PA

As an onsite school psychologist, you’ll collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to foster a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid or eligible school psychologist certification in Pennsylvania
• Proven experience in K-12 educational settings, particularly with secondary students
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based psychological assessment tools and procedures
• Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and behavioral plans
• Collaborative approach to working with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse populations and promoting equity

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students' learning and behavioral needs
• Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to design interventions and support strategies
• Make recommendations for educational and behavioral programming based on data and best practices
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and prevention services as needed
