Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

The Maintenance Mechanic II will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery through timely equipment repair, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and machine installation. This role operates primarily during standard business hours as an individual contributor within a maintenance team, emphasizing safety compliance throughout all tasks.

Shift: 2nd

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Hours: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM

Pay: $27-35 per hour + $1 per hour shift differential

Type: Direct-Hire / Full-Time Employment

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain manufacturing machinery to minimize downtime
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical system issues
• Install new machines and ensure proper setup
• Adhere to safety protocols and compliance standards in all activities

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in maintenance mechanics
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in mechanical repair, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Experience with preventive maintenance and blueprint reading
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
