SGHS – Brunswick is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment supporting a busy outpatient OBGYN practice located near the Atlantic coast. This position is ideal for a candidate experienced in women’s imaging who is comfortable managing a high daily patient volume while delivering accurate, high-quality diagnostic studies.
Essential Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient clinical setting. \n
- Conduct a variety of studies including:\n
- \n
- Confirmation and viability scans \n
- Nuchal translucency examinations \n
- Anatomy and growth ultrasounds \n
- Biophysical Profiles (BPP) \n
- Umbilical artery Doppler studies \n
- Gynecological and follicular scans \n
\n - Utilize GE VOLUSON ultrasound equipment efficiently and accurately. \n
- Perform 12+ examinations per day based on provider schedules and patient volume. \n
- Work collaboratively with OBGYN providers to support timely patient evaluation and care planning. \n
- Communicate significant or urgent findings to clinical staff through verbal preliminary reporting when appropriate. \n
- Maintain complete and accurate imaging documentation while adhering to quality and safety standards. \n

- Active ARDMS or ARRT certification (Required) \n
- Prior experience in OBGYN ultrasound imaging preferred \n
- Ability to perform independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment \n
- Driver’s License must be submitted with profile \n
- Candidate must reside 80+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel placement \n
