Job Summary:
\n The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. The role involves assisting with interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of care.

Required Qualifications:
\n • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and radiological positioning of the human body
\n • Understanding mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware
\n • Thorough knowledge of PACS system
\n • Maintains CEU Credits
\n • Team members must achieve ARRT (CT) certification within twelve months of hire
\n • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire
\n • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program
\n • High School diploma or equivalent
\n • NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License
\n • ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license required

Preferred Qualifications:
\n • Six months CT experience preferred
\n • Knowledge of Epic and any HIS/RIS system added by the hospital
\n • ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license preferred

Additional Information:
\n • Scheduled hours: 3 PM-11:30 PM, every third weekend
\n • Holidays as needed
\n • No on-call
\n • Experience in CAT scan required
