Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role is ideal for professionals eager to make a difference by delivering mostly compensatory services within a collaborative educational environment. With a set schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, you’ll play a key role in helping students reach their maximum potential.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Physical Therapy license is required
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Adaptable and committed to supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative physical therapy services to students in grades K–12
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student
• Collaborate with educational teams to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Monitor progress and document services in compliance with school and legal requirements
• Support IEP development and participate in meetings as needed
• Assist with planning and carrying out compensatory services for eligible students
