Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

What You’ll Bring:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California Speech-Language Pathology License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (or eligibility to obtain)
- Fingerprint clearance and completion of all district-required onboarding documents
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and contribute effectively to multidisciplinary teams
A Day in the Life:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy tailored to individual IEP goals and service minutes
- Complete assessments in speech, language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic language
- Evaluate, re-evaluate, and craft comprehensive written reports
- Develop and update IEP goals, presenting findings during meetings with families and staff
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, psychologists, occupational therapists, and families on strategies and progress
- Keep accurate records, service logs, progress notes, and, as required, Medicaid billing documentation
- Consult on classroom accommodations and communication support for a variety of needs, including AAC devices
- Support students with a range of diagnoses, such as Speech/Language Impairment, Autism, Specific Learning Disability, and more
- Participate in multidisciplinary educational planning and meetings
