Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technician for a 9-week contract assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience performing both screening and diagnostic mammography and be proficient in patient positioning, image quality, and documentation.
Responsibilities:

- Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography procedures. \t
- Demonstrate competency in mammography positioning, compression, and technique factors. \t
- Ensure all radiographic images are accurately labeled according to department SOPs. \t
- Evaluate images for technical quality and transmit images to PACS in a timely manner. \t
- Complete all studies in IDX. \t
- Accurately document and record required patient tracking information. \t
- Work effectively and efficiently while maintaining quality patient care.
Requirements:

- Active New York State License in Diagnostic Radiography. \t
- Current ARRT certification. \t
- Must maintain MQSA requirements. \t
- Previous mammography experience required. \t
- Biopsy and stereotactic (stereo) experience preferred.
