\n Job Responsibilities:\n \n- \n
- Performs echocardiograms, exercise stress echocardiograms, and pharmacological stress echocardiograms \n
- Conducts routine stress tests, pharmacological stress tests, Holter monitor setups, and ECGs as needed \n
- Provides preliminary echocardiogram reports to the interpreting physician for review \n
- Reviews test orders for appropriate ICD-9 codes, logs procedures, and enters charges into the computer system \n
- Retrieves previous test results and images for comparison purposes \n
- Processes ECGs by pulling prior tracings, entering charges, and updating the Muse system with physician corrections to automated interpretations \n
- Assists in preparing final reports by correcting typographical errors, copying, distributing, and filing finalized documents \n
- Answers phones and schedules diagnostic cardiac testing appointments \n
- Obtains continuing education credits to maintain credentialing and stay current with industry standards \n
Minimum Required:

- Graduate of an accredited program of Echocardiography or Cardiac Ultrasound or equivalent. \n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- One year experience in echocardiography. \n
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
\n- \n
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer by the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography or equivalent. \n
