Experience

- Minimum 2 years of inpatient nursing experience \t
- Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required \t
- Telemetry experience required \t
- Minimum 6 months of travel nursing experience \t
- Experience with Cerner EMR required
Education
- \t
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program (Required) \t
- BSN highly preferred
Licensure & Certifications
- \t
- Active RN license in the state of practice (Required) \t
- BLS \t
- ACLS \t
- NIHSS \t
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute – NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training)

- Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler.
The RN is responsible for:

- Providing safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care. \t
- Performing comprehensive admission and ongoing patient assessments. \t
- Monitoring and caring for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry patients. \t
- Interpreting patient assessment findings and developing appropriate nursing interventions. \t
- Delivering age-appropriate care across the lifespan. \t
- Accurately documenting assessments, interventions, and patient progress. \t
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes. \t
- Following hospital policies, regulatory standards, and nursing best practices
