Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – School-Based | Mount Desert, ME
Location: Mount Desert, ME 04660
Schedule: Part-Time – Choose Between 3 Full Days or 5 Half Days per Week
School Year: 2026–2027
Grade Levels: PreK–8th Grade
Pay: $40.00–$50.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
The selected BCBA will provide behavioral consultation and support services to students, teachers, and school staff. This role focuses on developing and implementing behavior intervention strategies, conducting assessments, and collaborating with educational teams to promote positive student outcomes.
Responsibilities
Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Provide behavioral consultation and support to school staff and families.
Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Train school personnel on behavior management strategies and evidence-based practices.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district and state guidelines.
Qualifications
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
Previous school-based experience preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Ability to work effectively with students, families, and educational teams.
