\n Duties
\n Job Summary:
\n -This role performs a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures.
\n -Perform computed tomography techniques and examinations.
\n -Conducts a variety of computed tomography (CT) procedures including biopsies, cardiac CT, and post-processing.
\n -Produce computed tomography scans for diagnostic interpretation.
\n -Operate CT equipment and select technical factors and positioning/safety devices.
\n -Responsible for proper identification on images, including both identification and demographic information 100% of the time.
\n -Document all related data.
\n -Provide radiation protection for patients, families, staff, the general public and self.
\n -Other responsibilities.
\n -Identify, process, transfer and archive patient exams including exam records, images and patient demographics.
\n -Maintain the integrity and security of the radiology information systems.
\n -Resolve and escalate complex issues.
\n -Subject to on-call status including weekends and holidays.
\n Skills:Required Skills & Experience:
\n -Intermediate knowledge of computed tomography imaging.
\n -Intermediate knowledge of picture archiving and communication systems (PACS).
\n -Intermediate knowledge of radiology information systems.
\n -Intermediate knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
\n -Basic proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
\n -Excellent interpersonal skills.
\n -Excellent time management skills.
\n -Strong organizational skills.
