Special Education Teacher in Tijeras, NM

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico Special Education Teaching License required
• Experience working with K–12 students in a school-based setting is highly preferred

• Collaborative mindset to work effectively with educational teams and families

Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging lessons for students with diverse learning needs
• Develop and monitor IEPs, documenting student progress toward goals
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet individual student requirements
• Collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families to drive student success
• Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance with state and federal guidelines
